The City of Fort Myers is nearing completion of construction on the drainage, utility and roadway improvements to First Street (SR 80) from Fowler Street to Seaboard Street.
First Street (SR 80) from Seaboard Street to Fowler Street is now OPEN .Palm Beach Boulevard/First Street (SR 80) from Seaboard Street to Fowler Street is a one-way westbound roadway. Travel should be in the westbound direction only.
Officers from the Fort Myers Police Department are monitoring the roadway and will issue citations to any vehicles traveling in the wrong direction.
